Jakarta

Toyota Supra driven by the deceased Paul Walker so one of the most iconic vehicles in the film series The Fast and Furious. The car will be auctioned in the near future.

Quoted from Motor 1, a well-known auction company from the United States, Barrett-Jackson will auction off the car used by Paul Walker in the film The Fast and Furious. The auction is planned to be held June 17 to 19, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Paul Walker, who played Brian O’Conner in the film, drove the Toyota Supra twice. The first in the films The Fast and Furious (2001) and 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003). But in the last series, the Toyota Supra was changed to gold.

During the shooting of the movie Fast and Furious, the car Toyota Supra It has received a number of modifications starting from the use of the Candy Orange color inspired by the Lamborghini Diablo. As well as the presence of an illustration depicting the “Nuclear Gladiator” on the side of the car.

The front spoiler and side skirts have been changed using the Bomex. Also present is the hood of the TRD model, the use of an APR aluminum rear wing and 19-inch alloy wheels.

However, if this car is sold commercially, the 1993 Toyota Supra uses a 3.0 L turbocharged six-cylinder engine. The transmission has a four-speed automatic, although at first glance the gearshift looks like a manual one.

The auction organizer did not want to reveal the initial price of the Toyota Supra. In fact, his party has not received orders from a number of collectors who want to buy it faster at a fantastic price.

In 2015, the auction company Mecum managed to auction off the Toyota Supra used in the shooting of the film The Fast and Furious for USD 185 thousand or around Rp. 2.6 billion. But unfortunately the car that was auctioned off was not the one driven by Paul Walker, but the replacement car used by the stuntman.
