Dr. Wilfried Hartleb, the former cultural advisor for the district of Passau, plays the organist in the film “The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love”. He tells the PNP how the filming was.
The list of prominent actors in the film “The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love” is long: Michael Bully Herbig plays, Hape Kerkeling, Sebastian Bezzel and Hannah Herzsprung can be seen in the film. And spectators from the Passau region may have discovered another familiar face: Dr. Wilfried Hartleb, the former cultural advisor for the district of Passau, plays the organist in the film that was to be director Joseph Vilsmaier’s last before his death.
In September 2019, Wilfried Hartleb, he tells the PNP, received a call from the production company asking if he would take on the role of organist in Joseph Vilsmaier’s film “Der Boandlkramer and Eternal Love”. The part of the story would be shot at the beginning of November in the Grongörgen pilgrimage church. “I was amazed that I was chosen as organist for this role,” says the former cultural advisor. He suspects that the recommendation came from Grongörgen’s church clerk Heinrich Feldschmied – and Wilfried Hartleb is very familiar with him.
