Jakarta (ANTARA) – Clubhouse has arrived on Android, and the company announced that the platform is now available globally.
Reported by GSM Arena, Saturday, this application works exactly like on iOS. This means that users still need an invitation from someone to be able to start using the service.
However, all existing users get lots of invitations to share so there are lots of invitations circulating.
Clubhouse is a social networking service that allows users to host virtual rooms, where they can then talk to other users.
Users who follow you but are not set as speakers can still join this room as listeners. The room host can then allow one of the listeners to become the speaker.
The Clubhouse experience is like listening to a podcast but with more interactive elements. Unlike podcasts, Clubhouse streaming is live. More importantly, they are not saved so that only those who come in to listen are privy to the conversation.
Clubhouse launched over a year ago as an iOS dedicated app. Since then, the service has skyrocketed in popularity and has started to be duplicated a lot.
Like Twitter, which recently added a similar feature called Spaces. Twitter made it available to everyone pretty quickly and also without requiring any invitations
