Kevin Campbell has suggested in the Highbury Squad that Ryan Bertrand would be a good signing for Arsenal.
The former Arsenal striker can’t believe some North London club fans don’t want the 31-year-old left-back to make the trade to the Southampton Gunners.
The England international defender will leave Southampton this summer when his current contract with the Saints ends.

The Daily Mail reported last week that Arsenal are in talks to sign the England international.
Campbell told Highbury Squad: “In certain areas we need quality, and in certain areas we need numbers. As an endorsement for Tierney. I think it’s very important.
“You know what? Some Arsenal fans have been teasing Bertrand. I’m like, ‘What?’ Okay, who would they go to?
“Because you have to remember that many of the players that you would like, just want to be starters.”

Kieran Tierney is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.
It’s hard to see Arsenal bring in a left-back who is as good as the former Celtic star and still willing to play a supporting role.
Arsenal just wouldn’t get a player like that.
It’s true that Bertrand isn’t exactly a world-class left back, but he’s at the top of his game, he’s very experienced and would be a free agent in a matter of weeks.
Tierney has had injury problems during his time at Arsenal.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has played midfielder Granit Xhaka as a left-back while the Scottish international left-back has been on the sidelines.
It’s important that the Gunners bring in a dedicated left back this summer.
