Attacking the Friday Prayers Khotib at the Grand Mosque, this man was arrested

A man on Saudi Arabia, was arrested by the security forces, because he disturbed the road Friday prayers of Masjidil Haram, Makkah. The man tried to force his way into the pulpit of the sermon, but was later secured.

As reported Saudi GazetteOn Saturday (22/5/2021), a spokesman for the Makkah regional police announced that the security forces of the Grand Mosque had arrested a man who tried to reach the pulpit from where the imam delivered a sermon on Friday prayers at the Grand Mosque.

“The man was immediately arrested and legal action has been initiated against him,” the spokesman said.

This man’s action was viral on social media and was widely discussed. This man suddenly appeared from the back row of the Friday prayer congregation.

Near the pulpit of the sermon were two security forces guarding them. The man who ran and approached the pulpit was then secured by the security forces on standby.

Reporting from Arab News, the man who disrupted the Friday prayer path dressed in ihram and waving a stick, was quickly arrested by security forces.
