Emotional interviews with clear statements are a rarity in the football business. The interview with Noch-Admira coach Klaus Schmidt after the 1-1 draw against SCR Altach is all the more remarkable.

Shortly after the final whistle, he could not answer how things were going for Schmidt that he was not thinking of giving up despite the setbacks, but he made it clear.
“I just want to say that I am passionate about this job. And maybe someday it will fit that I have the opportunity to work longer. It’s the coolest job in the world. That’s why I do it, that’s why I love it.”
After the end of the game, the coach was said goodbye to his remaining players, who celebrated him standing in the trellis. Those actors who had to stay in their four walls due to the quarantine regulations could not be there. For this, the ex-trainer addressed her with emotional words.
“The most tragic thing is that today I can ‘only’ say goodbye to one team that I have only been through with 10 boys in the last few weeks.
