According to the social authorities, a total of 75,582 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the pandemic began. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 69,800 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.

The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days has fallen further within one day – from 42.7 on Thursday to 39.7 on Friday. A week ago the value was 63.1.
Fewer corona patients in Hamburg’s clinics
According to the social authorities, 133 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals – 13 fewer than reported the day before. 62 of them are being treated in intensive care units, 5 less than the day before. According to the RKI, 1,541 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. This number remained unchanged.
