The club has a total capacity of 250 people and expects to be sold out on the opening day on Friday, writes NTB.

– This means that we can get back many of our lovely guests who have missed this. It also naturally means that we can start to get some money in the coffers again, says the owner Torben Nielsen.

The club has been closed since December 9, 2020, writes Berlingske.

Participants must show a valid corona certificate and ID when they arrive – and wear a face mask in the bar area. In addition, all guests must register the telephone number upon arrival.

Nielsen says that if an infected guest should be allowed in, they will then be able to send out a message to all the guests who have been to the club the same evening.

He also states that the club in the next few days is almost fully booked.

– There are few places left.

Danish casinos can also reopen on Friday for up to 100 people.

First charter trip in seven months

For the first time since October last year, a group of Danish tourists fly south by charter plane.

The departure goes to Mallorca on Friday afternoon. It is the travel company TUI that flies the 189 tourists south, writes

The travel industry has been hit hard by the pandemic over large parts of the world. But lately, the guidelines have been changed and the restrictions have been stepped down both in Denmark and several southern European countries.

Thus, Portugal, Malta and parts of Spain are in practice again available to Danish travelers.

– It is a great redemption to be able to send a plane with holiday-happy Danes off again, says communications manager at TUI to Berlingske.

He adds:

– It has been a terribly long winter, but now it looks like it will be summer in Europe again.

On Saturday, the travel company Spies will send its first charter departure with 400 passengers, also to Mallorca.

The facilitations in the travel advice from the Danish authorities now allow holiday trips to regions abroad that have a lower level of infection than 50 to 60 infected per week per 100,000 inhabitants.
