BEIJING (Reuters) – China released the first images of the red planet taken by its Martian rover, Zhurong, Chinese state television reported on Wednesday.
The unmanned Tianwen-1 spacecraft successfully landed on the surface of Mars on Saturday. The mission of the Zhurong rover is to study the soil and the atmosphere of the planet, as well as to detect possible signs of ancient life.
