(ABM FN) Registrations of new passenger cars in Belgium rose by 602.3 percent in April, while in the European Union registrations rose by 218.6 percent that month. This was reported by the European trade association for the automotive industry ACEA on Wednesday.
In Belgium, the number of registrations increased to 37,192 cars last month. After the first four months of 2021, there is now an annual increase of 17.9 percent.
France showed a plus of 568.8 percent in April, while Germany, by far the largest ‘autonomy’ in the EU, reported an increase of 90.0 percent. In Italy, sales even increased by nearly 3,300 percent.
