At half past eight on Wednesday morning, the police received several worried telephone calls from the area by Tåsen Metro station in Oslo. The reports were that a man was shouting and running after people.
– He must have screamed and run after children. As it appears, I understand that the behavior has been frightening, says operations manager in the Oslo police district, Vidar Pedersen, to TV 2.
According to him, the reports were that the man appeared to be intoxicated. It has not been reported that anyone is exposed to anything physical.
– But it has probably been a scary situation anyway, Pedersen says.
The police are now on the scene and have control of the man. They talk to him as well as witnesses to the incident.
