Teacher encourages reading through music. – Dependencies Newsletters

San José Iturbide, Gto. May 18, 2021.- With the aim of awakening interest in reading and fostering the imagination of basic education students, the teacher Jesús Zarazúa Rangel offered fifteen virtual concerts as part of the project “Tales to sing like children”.

During each virtual concert lasting half an hour, the teacher Jesús Zarazúa Rangel presents a repertoire of songs of his authorship, with themes such as: imagining I learn, welcome imagination, it was a monster, the march of the ants, a superhero that can fly, long live peace, I like to dream, the vowel mouse, among others.

Accompanied by his guitar and harmonica, through the Zoom, Teams, Meet and Facebook rooms platforms, the teacher has reached students from the municipalities of the region with his music, such as Doctor Mora, San José Iturbide, Tierra Blanca and Victoria, as well as students from Celaya, Apaseo, Dolores Hidalgo and municipalities in the state of Querétaro, such as Tequisquiapan and Ezequiel Montes.

With this project, the teacher Jesús promotes reading, imagination and wonder, as well as the dissemination of positive messages found in each of the songs so that students reflect on the importance of participating in actions such as planting a tree, helping at home and being a better person, among other positive messages.

In addition to being a science, biology and physics teacher, Jesús Zarazúa is a writer, singer-songwriter, poet, musician, draftsman, speaker and promoter of great academic and cultural activities in different municipalities of the Northeast area of ​​Guanajuato.
