ANKARA, KOMPAS.TV – The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, issued a strong tone addressed to United States President Joe Biden.
Erdogan called Joe Biden’s hands “covered in blood” for supporting Israel in the conflict with Palestine in the Gaza Strip.
Over the past few months, Erdogan has been seeking to improve relations with Washington and reach out to other Western allies after a year-long row.
“You are making history with your hands covered in blood. You are compelling us to say this. We can no longer remain silent about this,” Erdogan said in a speech broadcast nationally televised. Kompas.com, Tuesday (18/05/2021).
