Activists and the training staff of Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie from the high “C” started building the lineup for the PlusLiga season 2021/2022. The representative of Serbia, MVP of the last European Championships, joined the Jurassic Knights.
After a seven-year break, Uros Kovacević will again be under the care of Igor Kolakovic. The Serbian host has signed a contract with Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and from the new season he will represent the colors of the Jurassic Knights. This is undoubtedly PlusLiga’s transfer hit. The left-handed volleyball player was the MVP of the last European Championship.
– Igor is a very important person in my life. He called me up to the national team when I was only 16 years old. I am very happy and excited to be able to work with him again – emphasizes Kovacević in a statement for the club’s official website. – His CV says it all, including his character and personality. I can say that I am a friend of his family, his older brother Nikola also played for the national team, his dad also played volleyball and his mother was an athlete. So it’s a sporty family. His older brother is now a volleyball referee. Sport is in their blood and it’s really cool that we have the opportunity to have Uroš in our club – emphasizes Kolaković.
