From June 25 until the end of the summer, the Gare du Sud innovates by offering the public a place of varied experiences in this way out of the crisis. A first step of the new concept which will be revealed in February 2022.
After having been redeveloped in 2019 as a food hall, the Gare du Sud in the Liberation district is being transformed again this summer to become a place of escape and vacation for Niçois and tourists. If travel is becoming increasingly rare in this period of health crisis, the company Enchanté, specialist in food & beverage entertainment in France, is committed to reinventing the forecourt and terraces of the Gare du Sud. A project of food hall festive which has had its effect in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and the Netherlands.
A place in parenthesis
The theme: Latin America. The new forecourt of the Gare du Sud “made in Enchanted“will evolve in a Latina atmosphere, in the form of”exotic bubble“. According to the operator, young and old alike”will have the impression of having traveled“the place will have changed so much. The Gare du Sud monument will then become a place”hybrid and transgenerational, where you can, in addition to having a drink and something to eat, meet, party, play, sing, see a movie or a concert …“.
The sanitary rules in force oblige to revisit the spaces. There will be a click and collect service, a central bar and removable mini-bars. A place of passage before dwelling on the proposed activities: karaoke, blind tests, bingo, fortune-telling, make-up, limbo … on a tropical sound background. From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday and from 11 a.m. to midnight from Thursday to Saturday, the summer season of the Gare du Sud will be open to everyone.
