After the compulsory Corona break, there will be art on site again this year at the Berlin Festival “48 Hours Neukölln”.
In 2020 the festival was mostly digital. This time, from June 18 to 20, a hybrid edition is planned under the applicable pandemic rules and “with a lot of fresh air”. This means that installations and shop window exhibitions are planned, as the organizers announced on May 18, 2021. More than 600 artists dealt with the festival theme “Air”. Of the roughly 250 projects, around 75 are digital formats. A group exhibition is to be seen in the Kesselhaus of the Kindl Art Center. According to the organizers, “48 hours Neukölln” is Berlin’s largest free art festival.
