The president-elect of San José, Sebastián Bueno Flores took possession of the club’s offices on Monday morning, a day after winning the elections, and with the premise of ordering the institution in the administrative part in these first days before focusing in the preparation of the equipment.
“We are going to try to recover all the documentation, there is no document, we do not have the papers and we are going to collect all that information,” said Bueno, in the company of the Court of Honor, which will be in charge of supervising the work of the board.
Bueno and his collaborators will work on the compilation of the documentation to initiate the legal defense of the club against the lawsuits filed by footballers, coaches and with people who provided services for the club. They will also request information from the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF).
The first team, on the other hand, is in recess by order of the board until Monday, May 24, that day the team will return to training under the leadership of technical director Domingo Sánchez. Over the weekend, the club thanked Marcos Ferrufino for his collaboration during this month and a half.
Sánchez will begin this Wednesday or Thursday the work of recruiting youth, a task that will last until the weekend. Featured players will be part of the reserve roster with the possibility of promotion to the main team.
“We have plans for the arrival of reinforcements for the second semester, that will be handled calmly and always thinking about the best for the club. We trust the criteria of Professor Domingo Sánchez to carry out the preparation,” said Bueno.
The vice president of the saints, Silvio Fontana, reported that he is in talks with the Peruvian César Vento (former Bolivar) to join this project as Sports Manager, but everything depends on his availability. Failing that, he would be an external advisor for San José.
