Leipzig – Wrong world at the regional court: With Jürgen K. (62), a man had to take a seat in the dock on Monday, who otherwise sits on the other side. K. is a judge himself, responsible for care matters at the district court in Eilenburg.
The prosecutor has charged him with perversion of the law. Jürgen K. is said to have failed to listen to mentally ill people in over 50 cases when it came to extending their care. K. admitted the alleged facts, but sees his approach covered by the law.
It was about people of old age who suffered from dementia. An improvement in her state of health was almost impossible.
Should K. be convicted, he would lose his judge’s office.
