There are many celebrities who develop an activist side beyond their profession, with some names such as Emma Watson or Millie Bobby Brown being among the most prominent. Who also dedicates great efforts to fight against injustices and promote balance on the planet is Jaden Smith, the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinckett, who has just announced his next project. The young man plans to open a vegan restaurant so that homeless people can eat for free.
At 22 years old, Jaden Smith has always been a young man with a very strong personality and with his own ideas to develop. When he wanted to immerse himself in the world of music, he did it in his own way, mixing styles and sounds that had nothing to do with the singing career of his father, Will Smith.
On a stylistic level, Jaden Smith, like his sister Willow, has also been carried away by her own criteria, dressing and combing her hair in striking ways that did not follow the canons of Hollywood fashion. The young man considers himself an artist and as such lets his creativity flow without the opinion of others important.
However, the physical change that Jaden Smith has undergone in recent years has been very remarkable, with a weight loss that came to worry his fans. This was due to the vegan diet that he followed strictly for a while and that put his health at risk, which is why he had to go to the doctor.
In any case, the boy continues to bet on not eating animals and his new project reflects this. In her role as an activist, she has announced that she is preparing to open a vegan restaurant for the homeless where they can eat for free. This is what he has commented on in an interview with Variety, where he has given more details about his new idea.
“It’s so homeless people can get free food. Now, if you are not homeless, you will have to pay more than what the food is worth and thus be able to pay for the food of the one who comes after you ”, he has detailed to explain the operation of his new premises.
This project comes after the success of the I Love You food truck that launched in 2019, a movement that was about “giving free food to the people who deserve it, free healthy vegan food”. That proposal helped thousands of people eat both in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles and in New York’s Harlem.
