Here are our updated Potency Rankings after Major Phase 3.
The Stage 3 Major brought even more great matches to the Call of Duty League. With a few major upheavals, explosive matches, and matches unfolding over time, here’s how our power ranking changed after Major Phase 3.
12. Paris Legion (-)
After a 3-1 loss to the Royal Ravens of London, the Paris Legion remains at the bottom of our power ranking. They don’t seem to be making any improvements, and with the end of the season coming very quickly, Paris will have to improve if they want to qualify for the Champs.
11. Surge de Seattle (-)
Seattle Surge remains in 11th place after its 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Guerrillas. Seattle has struggled at Hardpoint since the addition of Decemate, and losing two to the Guerrillas doesn’t look good. The push will need to improve their respawns before moving on to stage 4.
10. Guérillas of Los Angeles (-)
As they pitched the Major with a 3-1 win over Seattle Surge, they were defeated 3-1 by OpTic Chicago to end their major run. Again, the guerrillas have had a hard time respawning, and they will have to improve before moving on to stage 4. At the same time, they have to prove themselves against the best, they can beat the teams under them, but must beat the teams above. in the league.
9. Minnesota ROKKR (-3)
Minnesota ROKKR was outscored in a quick 3-0 loss to the London Royal Ravens to end their Major. They looked utterly lost, and their respawns struggled specifically, taking a 3-0 loss in control. While it looks like Minnesota ROKKR is making a change, it may be too late in the season.
8. London Royal Ravens (+1)
The London Royal Ravens looked better than ever in Major 3, and they had a great chance to run. As they lost 3-0 to the LA Thieves in their last Major game, they looked great, and that might just be the momentum they need to get to Stage 4. However, everything as they start to look great it looks like the Afro can step into the squad and replace Zaptius for Stage 4.
7. Dallas Empire (-2)
Dallas Empire couldn’t win a single card to the Major, and two 3-0 losses to Atlanta FaZe and OpTic Chicago don’t look good for the fourth leg. Dallas Empire will have to find the root of its problem and return to their level with Huke. Whether it’s another chance or if Empire is just looking to improve in time for Champs, they need to improve quickly.
6. Florida Mutineers (+1)
The Florida Mutineers are a team that can look like the best in the world one day and then the worst the next. Consistency has been a real issue for the Mutineers, and it’s something they’ll need to sort out before moving on to Step 4.
5. LA Thieves (-1)
LA Thieves took a 3-1 loss to the Florida Mutineers in their first Major game, before rebounding with a 3-0 victory over the Royal Ravens. Although they were ultimately knocked out by Toronto Ultra, the Thieves looked improved in their first game with Huke. However, they still haven’t spent much time with Huke and will only get better throughout the season.
4. OpTic Chicago (+4)
OpTic Chicago had a great run in the losing bracket at Major 3. Dashy and Scump specifically stepped up for the Major, dominating and securing a Top 4 finish for OpTic. This improvement was necessary and gives them great momentum as they approach stage 4.
3. New York Subliners (-)
The New York Subliners got a 2nd place in the Major, as they unfortunately could not close the grand final. Hydra looked excellent in her first Major with the team, and New York is without a doubt one of the most dangerous teams in the league right now. Their Hardpoint is exceptional and it looks great for Stage 4.
2. Toronto Ultra (-1)
Toronto Ultra still looks like one of the league’s most dangerous teams. However, falling to second in our Power rankings due to FaZe winning his second Major of the season. Once again, Toronto’s teamwork was second to none at Major 3, and their clutch factor is incredible. Toronto will look to go clear again in the group stage of the fourth leg.
1. Atlanta FaZe (+1)
Atlanta FaZe drops to number one in our Power rankings after his Major 3 victory. Arcitys played some of the best CODs of his career as he completely dominated, posting a K / D of 1.18 on stage. 3. FaZe has reclaimed the top spot and will seek to stay there throughout stage 4.
