Mustafa Kamal’s action against President Jokowi was launched via his Twitter social media account. Head of Public Relations of the Riau Islands Police, Kombes Harry Goldenhardt, said that Kamal was arrested by the Subdit Cyber Team of the Directorate General of Criminal and Criminal Investigation of the Riau Islands Police on Wednesday (12/5).
“The chronology of the incident began with the perpetrator who made posts in the form of content and uploaded them on May 8, 2021. In that Twitter account, the perpetrators of the Constitutional Court spread the news. hoax and SARA, “said Goldenhardt, Monday (17/5/2021).
He said hoax and SARA was brought up by the perpetrator via the @ MustafaKamalN13 account. The account is known to have only been created in March 2021 with uploads that are suspected of often spreading false news about Jokowi.
Goldenhardt mentioned one of the reports against Mustafa Kamal regarding profanity Jokowi. The perpetrator criticizes with inappropriate and allegorical sentences Jokowi with one of the animals.
“In their uploads, the perpetrators shared and spread hoaxes and SARA news about the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. Knowing this, the Opsnal Subdit Cyber Team of the Kepri Regional Police conducted an investigation until May 12 yesterday at around 13.00 WIB, the perpetrator was secured,” said Goldenhardt.
“The evidence that is secured is 1 unit handphone, SIM card, a Twitter account in the name of Tiger Andalas belonging to the perpetrator, and the perpetrator’s identity card, “said Criminal Investigation Director Kombes Teguh Widodo.
