Aggressive dog shot by cop | Inland

After the aggressive dog bit the smaller one, the owner of the mastino wanted to run away, according to witnesses. Bystanders stopped her and called the police. He arrived on the spot and asked the owner to leash the dog. The woman did not speak Dutch or English, so communication was difficult, according to the police.

When a second police car arrived on the scene, the mastino went wild again and approached one of the officers. That cop used pepper spray to keep the dog at bay. Then the dog attacked a second officer. He shot the dog in self-defense.

A vet has come to the scene to treat the dog, but he had to put him to sleep.
