At the end of the 24th day of Top 14, Clermont received Toulon in its Marcel-Michelin stadium, from 9:05 pm. Very quickly, Morgan Parra scored the first three points of the ASM thanks to a penalty obtained in the 4th minute. Then it did not even take so long for the RCT to flatten the first try (transformed) of the meeting through Gabin Villière (6th). The end of the first period was a succession of kicks from Parra (Clermont) and Carbonel (Toulon) who respectively added nine and six points to their respective teams. At the break, it is the Toulonnais who lead (12-13). The second act took a long time to get carried away. Despite new penalties entered by the kickers, Clermont had to wait for the 76th minute and a try from Apisai Naqalevu to gain a definitive advantage. Final score 25-16 in favor of the Auvergnats who keep their 4th place in the standings. The Var, meanwhile, came out of the top 6 in favor of Stade Français.
