JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Polda Metro Jaya reminded that travelers returning to Jakarta are obliged to pocket them COVID-19 free letter.
“Jakarta residents who are going home to Jakarta are required to bring a letter antigen free of COVID-19 from their homecoming area, they are shown a COVID-19 free letter at the checkpoint, “said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus in Jakarta, Friday (14/5/2021), as quoted Among.
Yusri explained that the Police will conduct a complete inspection of the COVID-19-free letter starting Sunday (16/5).

Polda Metro Jaya will set up checkpoints at KM 34 Tol Jakarta-Cikampek towards Jakarta and at Pos Cikupa.
For arterial roads, COVID-19 free letter checks will be carried out in Jatiuwung and Kedungwaringin.
“Technically, we all do an inspection, that all motorists are required to show a COVID-19 free certificate,” he said.
Yusri also appealed to travelers to first carry out an antigen swab test before returning to Jakarta to prevent vehicle buildup.
The Polda Metro will also prepare an antigen swab test service for vehicles that want to enter Jakarta, but do not carry COVID-19 free letters.
“If not, we will open a ‘drive thru’ and ‘random sampling’ for the ‘swab’ of the antigen, but to make it easier to avoid getting stuck on the road, there will be no traffic jams before leaving, it is better to do an antigen swab,” he said.

Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya also reopened the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) flyover heading to Cikampek at midnight.
The police closed the flyover since May 6 as part of Operation Ketupat Jaya 2021, which focuses on blocking homecoming by blocking access to and from Jabotabek.
Polda Metro Jaya together with Kodam Jaya and Pemprov DKI Jakarta have held a homecoming blocking activity through Operation Ketupat Jaya 2021.
The operation, which was actually held on May 6-17, 2021, is a follow-up to the central government policy which prohibits people from returning to their hometowns to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Citizen data collection
DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan previously instructed sub-district heads and village heads throughout the Jakarta administrative area to proactively record data on residents who had just returned from Lebaran homecoming.
He also asked government officials to be proactive to ensure that all residents who enter and exit the environment remain under control.
The move was taken to prevent the spike in Covid-19 cases that usually occur after a long holiday.

“So we are not waiting, but we are proactive in ensuring that everything is under control,” Anies said in Jakarta, Friday (14/5/2021), as quoted by Antara.
Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) had decided on a two-layer tightening to anticipate overcrowding backflow of Eid.
The first layer is before entering the Jakarta area and the second layer is when arriving in Jakarta.
According to Anies, the most important thing in anticipating a spike in Covid-19 cases after Lebaran backflow is in the community, both in villages and in housing complexes.
He asked that when residents following the backflow arrived in Jakarta, in the villages and complexes, the RT and RW Task Forces must immediately record who were the residents who entered and in what conditions.
If symptoms of Covid-19 are found, isolation measures are taken immediately.
Anies said that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will ensure that coordination from the provincial level to the RT / RW runs synchronously.
“Because of that, later a special meeting will be held involving all RT / RW heads, then the sub-district and village heads, then Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas as well, to be able to work synchronously down to the bottom,” said Anies.
“So the head of the RT, the head of the RW, the task force will carry out monitoring so that all residents who come will be monitored, their condition checked, confirmed that the person concerned is healthy, he has no symptoms. And a rapid antigen test will be carried out,” said Anies.
