A mass fight took place in a restaurant near the administrative building of Razlog municipality last night. More than 20 Roma stormed the DNA bar and started turning tables, rushing to customers and staff after a visitor slapped a 10-year-old child from the Roma neighborhood.
At about 10 pm, the boy walked around the freezer with ice cream. Thinking he was going to steal, a visitor got up and kicked him out. The boy started swearing and his client slapped him, witnesses told Struma.com. Minutes later, a whole crowd of Roma, led by the child’s father and uncle, stormed the bar and a mass fight broke out.
Police arrived on the scene and brought order. One of the participants was arrested immediately and the others are wanted. The Roma are from the Simeonov clan known in Razlog.
According to acquaintances, the new MP from Razlog, Ivan Dimitrov, was also a client of the restaurant. The son of a local lawyer was also injured.
