The Füchse Berlin have won again after three defeats in the handball Bundesliga. The capital city won on Thursday in the local Max-Schmeling-Halle against the Eulen Ludwigshafen 28:21 (12:13). The best Berlin thrower was Lasse Andersson with seven goals.
Foxes trainer Jaron Siewert had to do without the injured Paul Drux and Milos Vujovic, but Jacob Holm and Hans Lindberg, who had previously suffered from Corona, were again in the squad. In front of empty stands, the home side initially had a hard time against the aggressive defensive work of the owls and their throws from the back area. After a 2: 4 deficit, the equalizer was only achieved after ten minutes of play and a little later at 9: 7 the first two-goal lead.

But the game remained balanced. The guests quickly equalized the score, while the Berliners continued to look for their form. As in previous matches, the Füchse fell behind again at 12:13. By being more confident on the ball in the second half, however, the Berliners managed to develop a lead again and then gradually expand it until the final whistle.
The chance for the next Bundesliga victory will be in exactly one week (April 15th). Then the foxes will compete at HSG Wetzlar (7 p.m.).
