It has happened. The release date of the long-awaited Friends-reunion is known. On May 27, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer return on HBOMax to the sitcom that made them world famous. So after exactly 15 years and 9 months, the cast will reunite. Aniston proudly announced the news on Instagram: “It’s official!”

WarnerMedia bought the rights to 236 episodes of Friends (1994-2004) for $ 425 million to make it one of its premium products. The series was the most watched series on Netflix in 2018.
According to the specialized site Variety each actor gets at least $ 2.5 million for the episode. It was shot in the series’ original Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, near Hollywood.
