Early this morning, just as the Sugar Feast got underway, the British Immigration Service launched a series of raids on the Scottish city. The timing was against the sore leg of the neighbors, who spoke of a ‘disrespectful’ action. They circled the van in which the Immigration Service wanted to take two men away.
Seven o’clock
Immigration warned the Scottish police that the transport could not continue. But the police decided that the men should be released: after seven hours, the doors of the transport van opened again.

The joy is enormous. The rivalry between Scotland and the United Kingdom also plays a role in this. The Scots want a say in immigration themselves, but it is controlled from London. Hence, Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon praised the police liberation campaign. She blamed the British government for creating the ‘dangerous situation’ in Glasgow today.
Crownmaatregelen
Police in Glasgow say they acted “in the interests of the safety, public health and welfare of everyone involved in the arrest and the ensuing protest.” Large gatherings are also prohibited in Scotland as part of the corona measures.
Prime Minister Sturgeon says he has filed a complaint about the state of affairs with the British government. She has also asked to ensure that these types of situations no longer occur in the future.
