Route E67 and Via Baltica

Via Baltica is part of the European route E67, which starts in the Czech Republic and runs through Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to Finland. The E67 route from Helsinki to Warsaw is called Via Baltta.

The S61 expressway is the main part of the Polish section of the Via Baltica international transport corridor.

As the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways informed in the communication summarizing the investments from 2020, it was a breakthrough and key year when it comes to the construction of the S61 road, because the entire route is under construction. The construction works are financed by the EU from the CEF – Connecting Europe program (over PLN 1.7 billion) and from the Infrastructure and Environment program (over PLN 1.6 billion).
