After an Easter weekend without a train between Orléans and Paris, this is again the case for this Ascension weekend. Since this Thursday noon and until Sunday afternoon, no train runs between Paris and Orléans, between Orléans and Blois and between Orléans and Vierzon.
SNCF continues its modernization work on the POLT line, Paris-Orléans-Vierzon-Limoges-Toulouse. during these weekends “punch” without a train, traffic is completely interrupted. This allows officers to work in complete safety. Over the year 2021, 3 other weekends without train are already planned on the same line: from May 22 to 24 for Pentecost, and then in the fall, from November 11 to 14 and November 20 to 21.
