DE, a male guest of the hotel Bobobox who is suspected of being a victim of harassment because he was recorded in the shower, demanding that the perpetrator be charged with punishment.
DE assessed that the perpetrator, who was found to be a fellow guest of the capsule hotel, had committed a crime by recording himself without permission while taking a shower. He also requested that the perpetrators be charged with criminal charges because they have harmed the business entity.
“My demands in this case are to prosecute the perpetrator with criminal charges of recording without permission and harassment. Adjudicate the perpetrator with criminal behavior that is detrimental to business entities,” said DE via his personal Twitter, Thursday (14/5).
However, DE is still not sure when the report will be filed. He admits that he is still waiting for an agreement after the meeting with Bobobox management which will be held in the near future.
“I personally will follow the path agreed upon with the CEO of Bobobox, Pak Indra Gunawan. The plan is to hold a meeting in the near future,” he said.
Bobobox management itself promised to provide legal assistance for DE to investigate the case.
Bobobox CEO, Indra Gunawan, admitted in his statement that he had carried out an internal investigation and had the identity of the perpetrator who was a fellow hotel guest.
Bobobox has also blacklisted the perpetrators so that they can no longer stay at Bobobox hotels throughout Indonesia. The decision was taken according to the demands of DE to Bobobox previously.
“And Bobobox will accompany you as a victim to report formally to the police,” said Bobobox’s message reply to DE.
Indra also promised to improve the security system in all Bobobox branches after the incident. Indra admitted that he did not want the same case to be experienced by other guests.
DE began when he was staying at Bobobox on Tuesday (12/5). While taking a shower, he caught someone recording himself.
He revealed the incident via his personal Twitter account @bukaniqbaalee. DE admitted that he had also reported the incident to the police, but was refused on the grounds that there were no articles that could be used to ensnare him.
