The calls for tenders for the construction of the future medical education pavilion in Chaudière-Appalaches at the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis are officially launched.
Announced in 2019, this project is a collaboration between Laval University, the University of Quebec at Rimouski, as well as the CISSS of Chaudière-Appalaches and Bas-St-Laurent.
From the fall of 2022, it will be possible to offer a doctorate in medicine program adapted to teaching and medical practice in regions and outside major centers.
The first cohort is expected to accommodate 18 students for a period of three years. Work on the new pavilion will begin this summer, on the land near the Jardin des Augustines.
