“The Al-Qassam Brigades launched missile attacks on enemies in occupied Jerusalem in response to crimes and aggression against the holy city, as well as the persecution of our people in Sheikh Jarrah and Al-Aqsa Mosque,” said Brigades spokesman Izzudin Al-Qassam, Abu Obeida, Tuesday (11/5/2021).

He also called on Israel’s ultimatum to withdraw all of its troops from the Al-Aqsa and Sheikh Jarrah Mosque areas in East Jerusalem by 18.00 this afternoon.
The Israeli military confirmed that seven projectiles from Gaza were fired at Jerusalem. One of them was intercepted or shot down, and the other hit a civilian vehicle in the south, injuring one person.
As it is known, the Izzudin Al-Qassam Brigades became the main force of Hamas during the war with Israel in 2014.
The seven missile attacks in Jerusalem almost coincided with the attacks of hundreds of rockets and mortars from Gaza against a number of cities in southern Israel.
The Israeli military has retaliated by bombarding Gaza from the air. A total of 20 Palestinians in Gaza were killed, including nine children.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said at least 11 of those killed were members of the Hamas group which has launched hundreds of rockets at Israel.
“In the next few days, Hamas will feel the long arm of the army [Israel]. It won’t take a few minutes, it will take several days, “IDF spokesman Hidai Zilberman told reporters. Times of Israel, Tuesday (11/5/2021).

Defense Minister Benny Gantz has signaled that his military will launch a full-scale war in response to hundreds of rockets from Gaza.
He said the IDF will continue to attack Hamas and other terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip in what has been dubbed “Operation Guardian of the Walls” until long-term and total calm is restored.
