Today I am a teacher: in!
Explain a little, calm things down, help one or the other with questions here and there – it can’t be that difficult!
Surely everyone has already caught themselves thinking this or something similar. So how about just trying this out for an hour?
Class 8b dared to try this experiment in German class with Ms. Stürz. She appointed two learners: inside, to guide you through the lesson with the help of the prepared materials and assignments. The topic was the short story “Das Fenstertheater” by Ilse Aichinger, which was first read and then discussed. What is this story actually about? What is the relationship between the characters?
An extended table of contents should be prepared at the end of the lesson so that it can be formulated individually in the following lesson.
The two learner-teachers made the experience that it is not that easy to keep the attention of fellow learners and at the same time to be able to thematize the important aspects of the lesson.
It will be exciting to see whether these experiences have any effect on the next few hours. 😉
