There is an accusation of ‘Mr M’ of the Alutsista Mafia, Prabowo immediately reacted

Jakarta, CNBC IndonesiaLater, the initials ‘MR M’ were considered as the mafia for the procurement of defense equipment. Who the hell is this?

Unfortunately, both the government and the parties who disclosed these initials are sharing the discourse. This accusation originated from the statement made by Defense observer Connie Rahakundini Bakrie, who revealed that there was a defense equipment mafia with the initials “Mister M” who took advantage of the defense equipment transaction in Indonesia. Connie’s statement made the public assume a lot. So who exactly is the “Mister M” that Connie Rahakundini Bakrie is calling?

This emerged when Connie was asked about the realization of President Jokowi’s previous efforts to order the brokerage of the sale and purchase of defense equipment to be eradicated.

“… there are too many people playing ..,” he said in the CNBC Indonesia Impact event with Peter Gontha last week.

He also had suggested that the matter of using the defense equipment budget should be better not only at the Ministry of Defense but also at the TNI commander.

Connie added that efforts to eradicate the mafia or brokers buying defense equipment are indeed not easy.

“The president has ordered but it is not working,” he said.

On this occasion he also dismissed the notion that he was one of the vendors for the procurement of defense equipment at the Ministry of Defense. According to him, becoming a defense equipment vendor is not easy, he asked to check his own gossip about playing as a defense equipment vendor.

He again mentioned Mr M’s initials, who were considered so far the mafia in defense equipment transactions.

“I will not mention Mr M, just look for it, as long as I want … there might not be a mafia if there is no user,” he said.
