Hitekno.com – Determination Lebaran 2021 or Hari Raya Idul Fitri or the beginning of the month of Syawal 1442 H will be performed by the Ministry of Religion in trial isbat which will be held on Tuesday, 11 May 2021.
To determine Eid This 2021, need to do monitoring crescent the beginning of Ramadan 1442 H by members of the Ministry of Religion’s Hijri Calendar Unification Team. This process is carried out before starting the isbat session to determine the beginning of Ramadan.
In a way scientific, the hilal is part of the moon phase. Launching from Suara.com, Cecep Nurwendaya, a member of the Ministry of Religion’s Hijriah Calendar Unification Team, said that there are five phases of the moon when monitoring the new moon.
The first phase is the new moon, the second phase is the crescent or hilal, the third phase is the first half-quartile moon, the fourth phase is the big moon, and the last phase is the old moon.

If the hilal is seen after sunset or qobla ghurub then the evening time will enter as 1 Shawwal. However, if it is not seen, then that night will be designated as the 30th of Ramadan. On the evening of the following day it will be confirmed as 1 Shawwal.
In addition to using a telescope, currently observing the hilal also uses a digital camera whose results can be processed to increase the contrast between the hilal and the light or dusk.
The Ministry of Religion will determine Lebaran 2021 tomorrow, Tuesday (11/5/2021). You need to be patient waiting for the determination from the government regarding this Eid Al-Fitr.
