In the districts of Würzburg and Kitzingen the outdoor catering is allowed to open again from Monday until 10 p.m. The district offices announced this over the weekend. Guests need an appointment and, if there are several households at one table, a current negative corona test.
In addition, theaters, concert and opera houses and cinemas are allowed to reopen. A current negative test is also required here.
In addition to these openings, contact-free indoor sports and outdoor contact sports are now possible again – with a current negative test result.
These opening steps are possible if the 7-day incidence is below 100 for five days in a row and is considered stable or declining.
This easing is still pending this week:
The city of Würzburg is allowed to do so on Tuesday as the last region in Mainfranken to loosen the Corona emergency brake. The incidence there had previously fallen below 100 for five days in a row.
Then the following applies:
Among other things, there is no nighttime curfew. Private meetings are again allowed with another household, but no more than five people. Incidence-dependent retailers can again offer Click & Meet – a corona test is no longer necessary. Non-contact sport is allowed between two households with a maximum of five people; children under the age of 14 are not counted. More is also possible again in other leisure activities: For example, museums and exhibitions can reopen if an appointment is booked in advance. In schools, alternating or face-to-face lessons can again take place with a minimum interval. Daycare centers can again be looked after in fixed groups.
Openings of outdoor restaurants, theaters, concert halls and opera houses in Würzburg-Stadt are not yet automatic. These must first be requested from the Ministry of Health!
