The University of Bordeaux Montaigne and the Department of Gironde are launching the Cap 33 system of free sports activities from May 11, 2021 for all students in the metropolis.
Beach volleyball, tennis, yoga, running, boxing, BMX, rollerblading … All traditional sports and their variants (speedminton, badminton without a net) will be offered to Bordeaux students for free from May 11 until the end of June 2021 via the new device Cap 33.
This partnership between the department and Bordeaux Montaigne University responds to the consequences of the health crisis on the physical maintenance of young people and makes the practice of sport accessible to the most vulnerable. An operation carried out in collaboration with several players in Gironde, including the Gironde departmental sports committees and Ufolep.
The disciplines will be organized on Tuesdays and Thursdays, excluding public holidays, from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., on the Monadey Sports Plain of the University of Bordeaux campus (8 domaine Universitaire, 33400 Talence). The only condition to access it is to have a valid student card and a pair of trainers, the rest being provided by Cap 33. This agreement between the University of Bordeaux Montaigne and the Department of Gironde is in addition to Cap’J Crisis helping students with serious financial difficulties.
