The San Francisco Giants placed pitcher Aaron Sanchez on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to May 5 for a sore right bicep.
Sánchez has been one of the Giants’ safest cards in 2021, allowing 3 or fewer runs in 5 of his 6 starts this season. To date, he has a 3.18 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 28.1 innings of work.
Sánchez spent 6 seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays before having a short internship with the Houston Astros and now defending the Giants.
