NCP reluctant to be brought up in polemics regarding a number of questions during the employee status transfer test ASN, such as willing or unwilling to take off hijab. According to NCP, the question was compiled by the assessment organizer, namely the State Civil Service Agency (BKN).
“The Corruption Eradication Commission is not an assessment organizer. As previously explained, the assessment of the national insight test was conducted by the National Civil Service Agency (BKN),” said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri to reporters, Saturday (8/5/2021).
He said BKN also involved a number of agencies, such as BIN, BAIS-TNI, TNI AD Pusintel, TNI AD Psychology Service, to the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT). Ali said that all material in the form of questions and questions during the interview was compiled by BKN with these institutions.
“All test kits in the form of questions and interview materials were prepared by BKN and these institutions. Before conducting the interview, a common perception was conducted with interviewers from several of these institutions,” he said.
He said there are also interview questions which are a development of the written test. In addition, Ali said that the KPK had received information about several questions that were asked of employees during the test.
“There are several questions that need to be answered by employees, some of which are related to worship procedures and family life choices. We also receive input from the public who question the relevance of some material in the interview that is not related to the main duties and functions of the KPK and we think this can be an input. for the assessment organizers, “he said.
“We underline that the assessment of the written test and interview is focused on measuring the strengthening of the integrity and neutrality of ASN,” Ali continued.
In addition, he explained the reason for the absence of competency and integrity tests for KPK employees. According to him, the test had been carried out since the beginning when employees wanted to enter the KPK.
“At the time of initial recruitment, KPK employees had met the competency and integrity requirements so that this aspect was not subject to retest,” he said.
Previously, there was an irrelevant question for test takers, namely the issue of the headscarf. This national insight test was motivated by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri, who signed Commission Regulation (Perkom) Number 1 of 2021 concerning Procedures for Transfer of Employee Status to ASN.
From March 18 to April 9, as many as 1,351 KPK employees (minus 2 people who did not participate) then underwent the national insight test in order to become ASN. There were 75 people who were declared ineligible after the test was carried out.
