Agents of the National Police belonging to the Foreigners Operational Group, of the Provincial Brigade of Foreigners and Borders, of the Higher Police Headquarters of Cantabria, have arrested a 29-year-old man, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of documentary falsification in the Santander airport.
On the morning of December 18, at Santander airport, during boarding a flight to London, he appeared at the control booth of the border exit filter, before an agent of the National Police, a citizen foreigner who identified himself by showing a Portuguese Identity Card.

Thanks to the efforts made by the Provincial Foreigners and Borders Brigade, with the Fuentes de Oñoro Police and Customs Cooperation Center (CCPA), it was determined that the documentation he was carrying did not correspond to him, with which the agents proceeded to his detention for a crime of documentary falsification.
Subsequently, upon being reviewed in the offices of the Higher Headquarters of Cantabria, it was determined that the detainee had been ordered to be arrested and placed in prison for a drug trafficking crime, for which he had been sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison. .
This person had also used other identities, with which he had numerous judicial and police records.
The detainee was placed at the judicial disposal, the judge decreeing his entry into prison. With this police operation, a dangerous trafficker has been arrested before he fled to the UK.
