Five homecomers Tangerang those who escaped the isolation managed to get to the family’s house in Serengan Village, Serengan District, Solo, Thursday (6/5). Two of them tested positive for the corona virus (Covid-19).
This information was conveyed by the Head of the Solo Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Ahyani. They were caught by the local Ladder Guard Task Force.
“They passed the isolation,” said Ahyani, Friday (7/5).
One of the travelers who tested positive for Covid-19 is currently undergoing quarantine at the Donohudan Hajj Dormitory, Boyolali Regency. While one other positive Covid-19 traveler is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
“One was symptomatic, so he was taken to the hospital,” he said.
Initially, the local Jaga Tangga Task Force received a report that there were travelers who had escaped the isolation and had arrived in Solo.
The information was then continued to the Solo City Covid-19 Handling Task Force. The travelers were immediately picked up to undergo an examination at Solo Techno Park.
The Solo City Government has indeed prepared STP as a quarantine facility for travelers who do not carry a negative Covid-19 certificate from their area of origin.
“After being swab with the antigen, there were two positive results,” he said.
The results of the antigen swab for the remaining three travelers, Ahyani continued, were negative for Covid-19. However, at this time they have to undergo quarantine at STP for five days according to the Circular (SE) of the Mayor of Solo No 067/1309 concerning Extension of the Micro PPKM signed by Gibran, last Tuesday (4/5).
Ahyani said that the incident proved that the Ladder Guard Task Force had proven to be effective in capturing residents who were receptive to going home during the Lebaran period.
In fact, according to him, the Task Force which spreads to the village level is more effective than the insulation at various points.
“Keep the stairs is proven to be effective. The blocking is not effective at all,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Serengan Sub-district, Agung Wijayanto, said that the five travelers from Tangerang arrived in Solo using public buses. They got off the bus before entering Tirtonadi terminal which is a checkpoint for travelers.
“The person concerned got off the bus in Kerten, then took an online taxi to the house,” said Agung by telephone.
