KPCPEN Public Communication Coordinator Arya Sinulingga mentioned the program mutual assistance vaccination started on May 17, 2021. The vaccination was initiated by private entrepreneurs through the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).
He conveyed this and at the same time clarified the news about mutual aid vaccination being held on May 9.
“The first thing I try to straighten out is not the 9th starting but the 17th. So after Lebaran, there will be a vaccine for mutual cooperation,” he said in a virtual dialogue, Thursday (6/5/2021)
The man who also serves as the Special Staff of the Minister of BUMN explained, mutual assistance vaccination implemented by private entrepreneurs to help the government accelerate the achievement of group immunity (herd immunity).
“So the basic principle is how to do this herd immunity this happens acceleration, “he said.
Even though the government has promoted a vaccination program which is still running to this day, entrepreneurs want to contribute through mutual cooperation vaccination which costs them borne by them.
“They are trying to contribute to the government to help the country so that the funds, the purchase, the procurement and the vaccination process are borne by private friends, Kadin friends,” he said.
Mutual cooperation targeting employees in each company that has registered through the Chamber of Commerce. The workers are free of charge.
“So that’s how they try to contribute and work together with all entrepreneurs to vaccinate their employees or laborers, so with this step, herd immunity there will be an acceleration, “he added.
