Health confirms that the pandemic is in a slight downward trend
The pandemic added 6,317 new infections until yesterday, according to data from the Ministry of Health that reflect a new decrease in the accumulated incidence in 14 days, to 205.5 cases (8.4 points less than yesterday and 23 since the beginning of May) , although the occupancy of the ucis remains high at 22.2% (six tenths less than Tuesday).
The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, said that these data indicate that the pandemic has entered a slight downward trend, which she expects to continue in the coming days, motivated by the advance of the vaccination campaign, although she has insisted that the situation remains uneven between communities.
