Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G may be in the works

The Redmi Note 10 Pro definitely has a lot to do, with a 108MP main camera, a 120Hz AMOLED display and all that – and let’s not forget the affordable price. But one thing that is missing is 5G connectivity.

The pandemic may have stifled the spread of 5G around the world, but its coverage is still growing at a steady pace, so even for mid-rangers, it’s important to deliver next-generation connectivity. After all, Xiaomi already has several 5G ‘Lite’ devices in this category, but they are more expensive than Redmis.

According to new rumors, accompanied by the image you can see above, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will likely turn on. It looks like the official promotional image for the Spanish market, and it is a smartphone very similar to the Redmi Note 10 Pro on the back. Then there’s all the talk about the challenging limits of 5G connectivity and the like.

Could it be? Could this be our first look at the upcoming Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G? Well, obviously only time will tell but we really don’t see why Xiaomi doesn’t work on such a device. We hope you get a better Snapdragon 732G chipset in the 4G model.

Rumor has it – it will be the Snapdragon 750G, which is still an upgrade so we’ll take it. Perhaps it would be better not to hope for the Snapdragon 780G, because using it will undoubtedly overturn sales of the recently launched Mi 11 Lite 5G, which is more expensive.

Despite these differences, it remains to be seen whether the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will be identical to its 4G sibling. This is not a given, because the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 5G are two very different devices, despite their similar names.
