The town of Grañén will transform the unfinished cinema-theater into a municipal gym. The works will be carried out by the students of the new employment workshop, which has been promoted by the consistory and which adds up to budget of 245,475.72 euros, financed by the Aragonese Employment Institute.
The mayor of the municipality, Carlos Sampériz, is “very satisfied” with the approval of this “new and exciting” training project, which, in addition to creating a new service in the town, It will equip the ten student-workers with the necessary skills to guarantee a future job. Continuing the one awarded in the previous call, it is a level 2 civil works and building workshop. The ten students will be joined by a director and a monitor.
The idea of the cinema-theater was conceived by the previous government team and It has been paralyzed for more than a decade, having only completed the structure of the building. For Sampériz, it was necessary to modify the end of the infrastructure, since “movie theaters are in clear decline, their cost was very high and also, the change allows to have a service that will have daily use.”
