A stranger put a burning object on a car parked on private property in Hasselroth in the Main-Kinzig district. A witness saw a limping man. The police are asking for clues.
Hasselroth – As reported by the Southeast Hesse Police Headquarters in Offenbach on Sunday morning, the owner of a car parked on Sandweg in Hasselroth (Main-Kinzig district) found property damage on Thursday evening at around 10:45 p.m.

“Shortly before the time of discovery, a burning object was placed on the roof of a Ford parked under a carport, causing property damage to the vehicle roof,” said a police spokesman in Offenbach. “The amount of damage was estimated to be in the low four-digit range.”
At the time of the possible crime, a witness saw a man about 65 years old with short, gray hair and a limping gait on the property. After being approached by the witness, he left the property on a bicycle.
