It was towards the end of last year that the actress who until then had been known as Ellen Page and who was nominated for an Oscar for her leading role in the film «Juno», stood out as transgender.
In a great interview with Vanity Fair tells Page (34), who is now called Elliot by first name, about how, after being under the knife to have his breasts removed, he feels comfortable with himself and his own body for the first time in his life.

– Not only changed my life
– The biggest change is that I can only exist now, Page says about how his life was before compared to how it is now.
– Just being able to sit by myself without being constantly distracted, he adds.
The 34-year-old has also been interviewed by the world-famous journalist Operah Winfrey on AppleTV +. It is the actor’s first TV interview since the transformation, writes ABC.

– I would like to let people know that this has not only changed my life – it has also saved my life. And that is the case for so many people, Page says about the breast surgery and the transformation from woman to man.

– What has brought you the most joy during this transition?
– Going out of the bathroom with a towel around my waist and looking at myself in the mirror and thinking “this is me”. I’m not panicking anymore. Just wearing a t-shirt and being able to touch my own chest. Feeling comfortable in my own body for the first time.
Page has had great success as one of the main characters in the Netflix success “Umbrella Academy” through two seasons. Page is also known as the main character in the aforementioned “Juno”, as well as the role as “Kitty Pryde” in the X-Men movies.
Around Christmas time, the 34-year-old shared his first selfie after the unveiling, to great joy for the fans. He posted the picture in connection with a post, where he thanked the fans for all the support and love after he emerged as a trans person.
