The crime that befell the girl took place in Jamunapur, Patna city, Bihar state, India, on Tuesday. The attack occurred precisely when the second wave of the SARS-CoV-2 corona virus pandemic hit almost all over the country, including in the city.

The two perpetrators, Mantu and Rocky, were arrested a day after committing gang rape. The two were detained at the Malsalami police station.
“They have been charged under Article 376D and an investigation is ongoing,” said a local police source.
“We will also see whether they have been involved before or not,” the source continued, as quoted news.com.au, Saturday (1/5/2021).
The two perpetrators reportedly took the girl to a deserted home and took turns raping her for an hour before fleeing the scene.
“I begged them to release me, but they behaved like animals and started touching my private parts. Before I could show resistance, they slapped me repeatedly,” said the victim, whose identity is protected.
“They took me to a house and started arresting me,” he said.
“Before I had tried to escape from that place, they tied my feet and hands, covered my mouth with a handkerchief.”
After the attack, the terrified victim managed to free himself and arrived at the house where he informed his parents about the horrific incident. The victim’s parents then reported it to the police.
The two perpetrators claimed to have persuaded the victim with the lure of being given an anti-COVID-19 vaccine at one of Patna’s health facilities.
Police are working to verify the teenager’s age, possibly adding to more charges against the two perpetrators, who come from the village of Jamunapur.
