The Racing Club de Lens coach was tagged overnight from Friday to Saturday near the Parc des Princes. The Lensois players were sleeping in a hotel located in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine) when the facts took place.
According to our information, two individuals were arrested by the police. In view of the messages written on the bus, Parisian supporters could be at the origin of the damage. In particular, they treat their opponents as “consenguins of me …” (sic). An insult that recalls the banner deployed in 2008 at the Stade de France, during the final of the Coupe de la Ligue between the two clubs (2-1 for PSG): it was then written “Pedophiles, unemployed, consanguineous … welcome to les Ch’tis ”, a reference to the successful film by Dany Boon. Five individuals had been sentenced and temporarily banned from the stadium.
In one communicated published around 11 am, Paris Saint-Germain condemns “with the greatest firmness the intolerable acts committed against RC Lens by individuals claiming to be supporters of the Club”. The management specifies that “police investigations are underway” and that it “reserves the right to take all appropriate sanctions and legal measures if it appears that some of its supporters are associated with these shameful acts”.
For its part, the Lensois club has not yet officially reacted. As a reminder, Racing (5th) faces Paris (2nd) from 5 pm within the framework of the 35th day of Ligue 1. A crucial match for the two formations, respectively fighting for a ticket for the Europa League and for the title.
